Duties and Responsibilities: The role of the volunteer would be to continue the development and implementation of an Internet fundraising program for our organization.  This continuation of this project would be part of a larger fundraising effort that includes direct mail, bequests, foundation and government grants and workplace giving campaigns.  Ultimately, we anticipate that the Americorps*VISTA member will be able to continue to develop our capacity to raise funds over the Internet by tapping into and developing a variety of approaches which would include, among other things:  registering with search engines, banner advertising working with portals, partnerships and other types of online promotions, continue building e-mail lists, e-newsletters, broadcast e-mails, and marketing through such mechanisms as My Space and You Tube. 
Salary and Benefit: a weekly living allowance of $266.65, possible additional housing stipend, health benefits, training, deferment of student loan, and an educational stipend of $4,725
