The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) will honor six leadership award recipients for their extraordinary service to Indian Country.
Their exceptional commitment and dedication has provided an array of opportunities in the areas of: economic development, justice, health, and Indian affairs. Their contributions provide an invaluable service in promoting sovereignty and government relations.

Native American Leadership Award
Elouise Cobell
Blackfeet Tribal Member and Lead Plaintiff in Cobell v. Salazar
In appreciation of years of work as spokesperson, inspiration, and moral force behind the effort to restore justice to American Indian trust account holders.
Public Sector Leadership Award
