Strategies for Meeting Deadlines, Maintaining Compliance, and Successfully Navigating Audits

As key deadlines approach for the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF), established under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), Tribal recipients are working to ensure that remaining funds are fully and properly expended, closeout requirements are met, and critical resources remain invested in their communities.

This webinar will bring together Tribal organizations and legal, accounting, and compliance experts to provide practical guidance on successfully closing out SLFRF awards. Panelists will discuss common challenges facing recipients, strategies for timely expenditure of remaining funds, closeout and reporting requirements, and steps recipients can take now to strengthen compliance and prepare for potential audits.

The discussion will also address the unique circumstances facing remote and disaster-impacted communities, including limited broadband access, disrupted recordkeeping and reporting, and documentation loss due to natural disasters.
