Job Description

Fort Mojave Telecommunications Inc. (FMTI), based in Arizona, is seeking a high-impact senior leader to drive commercial expansion for our growing ILEC and fiber broadband business. As part of FMTI’s long-term succession plan, this role is intentionally designed as a clear growth path to General Manager.

This is a GM-track opportunity for a leader who can deliver near-term revenue and market growth while developing into the future General Manager as the organization continues to scale beyond tribal land boundaries.

The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this leader will initially own all aspects of sales, business development, and revenue growth as well as operational management, with responsibilities expanding over time to include full operational leadership.

Proven commercial leader with experience in telecommunications, broadband, fiber, or infrastructure-based services

Demonstrated success driving growth in regulated or ILEC environments

Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline

Ready to transition from functional leadership into full business ownership

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead sales, business development, and commercial strategy across residential, business, and enterprise markets

Drive fiber adoption, customer growth, and revenue expansion

Build and manage strategic partnerships and growth initiatives

Gradually assume operational responsibility, including:

Network and service operations

Customer experience and retention

Financial performance and P&L management

Serve as a strategic partner to the GM and prepare to assume broader leadership of the company
