As the Grants Financial Management & Compliance Coordinator you are part of the MIWSAC team, working in collaboration with staff to uphold the values of the organization while ensuring accountability and support for the work.

●Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize tasks with excellent attention to details and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

●Ability to meet the demands required of the position, which will include working a flexible schedule, set-up and take down of events, transporting resources and materials, and more.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including:

●Creates and reviews the grant budget to actual with projections for the organization with the staff and works in collaboration with staff and outside consultants, contractors, vendors, partners, etc.

●Assist in the oversight of the annual budgeting processes for the organization, including supporting creation and oversight of budgets for specific grants, projects, or events with the Finance Director.

●QuickBooks Online

●Payroll

●Grant Compliance – federal and state

●Familiar with the provisions of the Uniform Guidance 2 CFR 200

●Department of Justice Grants Financial Management Knowledge

●Cost Allocation – Allowable, Reasonable, & Allocability

●Funder drawdown and / or payment request systems – ASAP.gov, PMS, & Intelligrants systems

●Experience with Conference Request Forms processes & procedures

●Subrecipient financial monitoring and tracking

Creation of contracts for consultants, contractors, and subrecipients

Preparation of budget and budget narratives and budget modifications

●Assist with - Annual Single Audit/990

●Participating in meetings with funders and project partners as needed/required

●Providing technical assistance and support for communities and programs seeking to enhance capacity and skills around serving Indigenous survivors of sexual violence

Work Travel Expectations/Requirements

MIWSAC staff are required to travel in order to complete project deliverables and to foster connection with communities and partners in a variety of spaces. We require that staff have the willingness and ability to travel (including possessing a valid driver’s license and current insurance), as requested or required, recognizing that each person’s individual situation will differ.

In this role, required travel is estimated to make up approximately 10% of the total time spent working.

Salary & Benefits

$70,000-80,000 annually
