Production and Warehouse Specialist

The role of Production and Warehouse Specialist is to work under the direction of the Product Development staff to produce items such as laser-etched jewelry, custom labels, fine art prints and other items. This individual will also assist the Warehouse team with shipping, QC, and warehouse tasks as needed.

Ability to work independently and as a team member with diligence and enthusiasm

● Ability to multi-task and maintain clear records of production processes, inventory, and

ongoing projects

● Ability to follow and maintain safety protocols

● Ability to regularly lift 25+ pound boxes, and 50+ lbs as needed

● Ability to operate a company vehicle + load + unload bulk materials with care

● Experience with or ability to learn an intermediate level of familiarity with Adobe Illustrator

● Experience with a laser cutter and/or UV printer highly preferred

● Experience with art prints or giclee printing preferred

● Experience with packing/shipping preferred

● Understanding Eighth Generation values, business practices, mission, Artist collaborators, and FAQ’s

● Willingness to learn about the Native experience

● Ability to pass a background check

Create and fill manufacture orders for fine art prints, custom labels, and jewelry, and ensure they are completed on time and to a high standard. ● Work independently to set and accomplish daily production goals as needed. ● Oversee, document, and maintain inventory levels for house-made products and raw materials throughout the year ● Ensure machine maintenance is conducted properly on a daily basis ● Work with the Director of Product Development to improve house-made products to better represent current aesthetic trends and standards ● Ensure that the production workspace remains safe, organized, clean, and arranged for maximum efficiency ● Provide expertise and consultation regarding standards, processes, and ideas related to product development as needed ● Assist Director of Product Development with relevant research and data analysis as needed ● Ensure all production supplies, tools, and materials are in stock ● Assist with special projects such as packing gift boxes or producing custom items as needed ● Work under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and Shipping Manager to ship orders, QC products, assist with cycle counts, and complete related warehouse tasks when required (especially during peak shipping seasons) ● Other duties as assigned
