Nez Perce Tribe Law and Justice Department has an opening for a PROSECUTOR.

Knowledge of and sensitivity to the culture, customs, and traditions of the Nez Perce Tribe preferred. Requires a JD or LLB degree from an ABA accredited school of law. A license in good standing with any State Bar.

The principle function is to represent the NPT in all criminal, juvenile, Minor In Need of Care, Indian Child Welfare and Civil prosecution cases before the Nez Perce Tribal Court, reviewing reports charging cases, drafting written complaints, motions, proposed orders, legal briefs, jury instructions, sentencing recommendations and other legal documents.

Salary range is $85,000 + DOE/DOQ.
