The Department of the Interior recently issued a Dear Tribal Leader Letter (DTLL) inviting Tribal Nations to submit written comments by April 17, 2026, and participate in a focused TIBC session in Washington, D.C., on May 19-20, 2026, where discussions will center on the FY2028 budget process and the future structure of TIBC itself.
