Young Professionals and Emerging Leaders are invited to attend strategically created, intermittent professional development (PD) sessions throughout the convention. These opportunities are for young people aged 18–24 who are recent high school graduates, undergraduates, graduates, or employed, and are interested in advancing their policy knowledge.
Attendance is optional, allowing youth participants to prioritize attending General Assemblies and meetings of committees, subcommittees, task forces, and regional caucuses, all at a special youth discount rate. The Young Professional and Emerging Leaders PD track does not offer dedicated programming, a specific meeting space, or meals.

NCAI resolutions are one of the policy mechanisms used to express organizational positions on Tribal, federal, state, and/or local legislation, litigation, and policy matters that affect Tribal governments or communities. All of NCAI’s advocacy work is guided by the Resolutions Process. Only Individual Indian members in good standing with NCAI may submit a resolution for consideration. All resolutions for Mid Year must be emergency in nature and national in scope.
Further guidance on the resolution submission process will be provided soon.
