Assistant Legislative Attorney IV-II

Duties and Responsibilities: • The Director is responsible for the overall administration of day-to-day activities of the RSICHD, including planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and executing the RSICHD’s functions of budget and finance, office management, property procurement, inventory, housing development, and staff. • Supervises the day-to-day operation of the RSICHD. The Director has the responsibility for housing management which involves, but is not limited to, the following; • Coordination of all tribal participants of occupancy. • Execution of Mutual Help and Occupancy Agreements and enforcement of the terms of those agreements. • Receiving and resolving homeowner and tenant complaints. • Assuring compliance with all HUD Management Directives. • Preparation and submittal of acceptable Financial and Operating Statements, Land Lease Agreements, Operating Receipts and Expenditures, Operating Budgets, and occupancy reports. • Compliance with the terms of the Annual Contributions Contract with various authorities or funding agencies (e.g., HUD, Fannie Mae, etc.). • The Director is responsible for personnel management activities of the RSICHD, which includes hiring, job performance, training, and guidance in work methods, and compliance with all personnel policies and procedures. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Reno Sparks Indian Colony 

Position Summary: The Director is the chief administrative officer of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Housing Department (RSICHD). The Director is directly responsible to the Tribal Chairman and RSICHD Board to implement the policies of the RSICHD in all areas of the department’s operations.

Minimum Qualifications: • A Bachelor Degree: in Business, Public Administration, Finance or equivalent experience. Must have experience in the administration of HUD funded housing programs or similar funded programs. • Proven ability to communicate with various audiences covering topics ranging in complexity from simple tenant agreements to advanced funding schemes and housing development projects. • Must possess a demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of generally - accepted governmental accounting principles, including the preparation of financial statements and financial reporting and budgeting. • Knowledge of the application of the principles and practices of procurement and liability management, financial, budget, audit, and systems procedures and controls, and monitoring contracts for compliance. • Preparing clear, concise and complete financial statements, reports and other written materials. Housing Director 

Project Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and manage project schedules using Excel, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar tools, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.

Estimating & Proposals: Support bid coordination, drawing and scope review, cost estimating, project budgeting, and proposal development.

Subcontractor Management: Coordinate subcontractor meetings, review scopes and contracts, answer scope questions, manage change orders and invoices, and support subcontractor scheduling and performance.

Project Management Support: Assist the Project Manager with consultants, vendors, specialty contractors, budgets, and internal departments throughout project development and execution.

Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission 

Position Overview: The Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission (NWIFC) is seeking a full-time dedicated and knowledgeable Systems Administrator to maintain NWIFC's core IT infrastructure, from Active Directory and Microsoft 365 to servers, networks, and security systems. The role combines hands-on technical work (patching servers, configuring firewalls, responding to security incidents) with front-line support, acting as the escalation point for Help Desk staff and a resource for end users. This role reports to the IT Manager and directly affects system uptime, data protection, and disaster recovery readiness

Minimum Qualifications
• Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of IT support experience, including help desk or desktop support.
• Experience administering servers (Windows and/or virtualized, e.g., VMware) and Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs, DNS).
• Experience administering Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls) and working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, HTTP/HTTPS, and VPNs.
• Experience supporting VoIP/IP phone systems and video conferencing platforms.
• Experience with system backups, recovery, and disaster recovery testing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
• Possess or able to obtain a driver’s license and able to be insured by employer driver’s insurance.


Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft/VMware equivalents.
• Experience with endpoint/network security monitoring and incident response, and with Zoom Rooms or similar systems.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructure, Microsoft Entra services, and website/version-control platforms (e.g., GitHub).
• Experience with relational databases/SQL, and interest in applying Generative or Conversational AI to NWIFC and Member Tribe workflows.
• Knowledge or familiarity of tribal governments and/or fisheries
