) Network, based in several locations throughout Southcentral Alaska, and the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies, located in Homer, are hosting the four-week Community Coastal Experience for its fourth year. This program is a paid opportunity for Alaskan adults over 18 to explore career and internship pathways in marine and coastal research, environmental monitoring, archaeology, and Alaska Native cultural history and arts related to the coastal environment of Southcentral Alaska.

Join us for a month of learning and travel in Seward and Kodiak! The Community Coastal Experience (CCE) is an adult internship program organized by the CORaL Network to increase opportunities in marine & coastal research, environmental monitoring, and Alaska Native cultural history & arts. The 2026 CCE will run from June 8 - July 3, 2026, and interns will receive a $3,500 stipend as well as travel, food, and lodging. This program is open to all Alaskans 18+ who live within or who hold strong ties to the region affected by the 

 Oil Spill. At-large Tribal citizens or others who hold lineal ties to the spill-affected region, but who no longer live within Alaska, are also eligible to apply.

Community Coastal Experience Internship 

Strengthen Tribal Public Finance Systems for Children and Youth


 Develop Tribal fiscal maps and public finance tools for Tribal leaders, Tribal child practitioners, and Native nations.
 Analyze Tribal, federal, state, and local funding streams in alignment with Tribal data governance.
 Support the development of finance recommendations grounded in each Native nation’s priorities and other knowledge and/or trends in funding.


Build Trusting Partnerships
 Engage with Tribal governments and community partners to support capacity building for fiscal mapping, cost analysis/modeling, and revenue generation.

Children's Funding Project 

CHILDREN’S FUNDING PROJECT is a nonprofit social impact organization that helps communities, states, and Native Nations expand equitable opportunities for children and youth through strategic public financing. Through our hands-on technical assistance and collection of resources, we help advocates, policymakers, public agencies, Tribal Nations, and funders identify and align existing funding, generate new revenue, and implement strategies to administer funds in ways that maximize their impact. Children’s Funding Project seeks an Associate, Tribal Funding, to join our Native Children’s Funding Project team. This team helps Native nations design, build, and sustain funding systems that reflect their cultural priorities and community values for Native children and youth. The Associate will help develop fiscal maps and other strategic public financing tools and analyses that support the well-being of Native children and youth while centering Tribal sovereignty, respectful relationship-building, and a commitment to equity- driven research and capacity-building. The Associate will also help other Children’s Funding Project teams where priorities align and where collaboration strengthens the Native team’s work, including the development of shared tools and processes that advance cross-team products. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Director of Native Children’s Funding Project.

This role is ideal for someone who shares our belief that every young person deserves access to opportunity and that Native nations hold inherent sovereignty, cultural strength, and community knowledge essential to designing the systems that support their children.

LOCATION: This is a fully remote position (employee may work anywhere within the continental U.S.). Some domestic travel is required.

Associate, Tribal Funding 

1. Manage, monitor, and secure enterprise network infrastructure including private fiber optic networks, LAN/WAN routing, VPNs, VLANs, and wireless networks. 2. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, including security rules, NAT policies, VPN tunnels, and threat prevention, IDS/IPS features. 3. Design and support resilient fiber-based WAN connections between Tribal government sites and facilities using existing fiber optic cabling and future private/dark fiber. 4. Monitor and analyze network traffic and performance to ensure optimum operation. 5. Troubleshoot & locate breaks in fiber optic networks. Splice and terminate fiber optic cables as needed. 6. Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture, device configurations, and change logs. 7. Assist in the administration and support server environments using VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V, including VM provisioning, backups, and host server maintenance. 8. Assist in managing Windows and/or Linux servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy. 9. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning for both network and system infrastructure. 10. Collaborate with IT staff and department teams to implement secure and efficient networked solutions. 11. Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation 

The Network Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation’s enterprise network infrastructure. The Network Administrator ensures the network infrastructure is reliable and resilient, while also maintaining a high level of security. This role also aids in supporting other systems administration duties for servers, backups, and applications. All Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation employees must submit to a background check and abide by all Tribal, federal, and state laws. All employees must comply with Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation drug free workplace policy and will be subject to pre-employment, random, for-cause, and post-accident drug and alcohol testing. Tallgrass Institute 

The Market Strategies Engagement Manager serves as a subject matter expert on market-based strategies such as shareholder advocacy, corporate engagement, and standard setting, and supports the work by building relationships with Indigenous Peoples, leaders, and communities to identify and implement market-based strategies to further their self-determined priorities. This role primarily works with partners to set and initiate related strategy; in more limited instances they may work with a partner or coalition to set and implement related strategy across the lifespan of a larger campaign. This role also collaborates with other Tallgrass Institute staff to manage market-based engagements not tied to specific partner projects.

National Indian Child Welfare Association

Communications Specialist 

The Senior Director of Advancement will have the following primary responsibilities:
Advancement Operations

Native Arts and Culture Foundation 

The Native Arts and Cultures Foundation (NACF) is a Native-led national organization dedicated to promoting the revitalization, appreciation, and perpetuation of indigenous arts and cultures. Our mission is to advance equity and cultural knowledge, focusing on the power of arts and collaboration to strengthen Native communities and promote positive social change with American Indians, Native Hawaiians, and Alaska Native people in the United States. POSITION OVERVIEWThe Senior Director of Advancement will be responsible for administrative oversight, team management, and execution of the fundraising plan. The Senior Development Director will carry a donor portfolio, manage team members with varied work styles, and ensure cohesion and stability in the Advancement department. This position will also serve as liaison to the Advancement Committee of the Board and collaborate cross-departmentally to align Advancement efforts with organizational needs. The college had its first graduate of the Associate of Arts program in Anishinaabe Language and Culture in the spring of 1993. In 1994, the college was accorded status as a Land Grant Institution by the United States Congress. Also in 1994, seventeen graduates completed their Associate of Arts degrees and Associate of Applied Science degrees. By the spring of 1995, the number of graduates had increased to twenty-four. The college moved classrooms and administration to the former Cass Lake High School building in the fall of 1994, resulting in an increased student enrollment of 196. These students were enrolled in two-year Associate of Arts transfer degree programs, or in two-year technical programs leading to an Associate of Applied Science degree, or in one-year vocational programs. The Leech Lake Tribal College (LLTC) includes approximately 60 faculty, staff, administrators, and about 150-200 students. Most of our students come from the Leech Lake Reservation. LLTC was accredited as a post-secondary Vocational School in 1993 and later awarded candidacy status with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association in 2002 for its associate degree programs and continued candidacy in 2004. Leech Lake Tribal College is seeking visionary educational leader who fosters community both inside and outside the college, especially with tribal communities and institutions, but also those entities that enrich the college and its students. The president will serve as the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the total operation of the college reporting to its Board of Trustees. The President has full authority to administer and manage day-to-day operations of the college including delegations as appropriate. As such the President shall exercise broad discretionary powers within the policies and regulations. The President will participate in policy-making in partnership with the Board of Trustees.

Possesses a strong working knowledge of Anishinaabe/Indigenous nationhoods (land base, governance, history) and a deep sensitivity to Anishinaabe cultural protocols, which directly informs and supports the Mission, Values, Philosophy, and academic programs of LLTC.

Working knowledge of academic leadership encompassing program and curriculum development, essential student support services, and strategies for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). This expertise includes practical experience in providing oversight for regional/institutional and programmatic accreditation.

A student-centered leader who actively cultivates diverse, creative, and strategically aligns educational and training partnerships to effectively meet the evolving business, industry, and employment needs of the region.

Working knowledge of complex budgeting processes, including methods for managing limited funding constraints, securing alternative funding, and implementing existing budgeting frameworks.

Understands the critical function of technology in rural service delivery and is committed to leveraging it to enhance student access to education.

A politically astute and engaging leader committed to shared governance, collaborating effectively across all campus constituencies and with the governing board (Board of Trustees). Experienced in strategic planning and board partnership to drive institutional success. Skilled in working effectively with external political entities, including local government, state and federal legislatures.

Master’s degree with a Doctoral degree preferred from an accredited institution.

Extensive higher education administrative experience in positions of increasing responsibility with at least three years in senior-level administration.

Teaching experience or student services experience at the post-secondary level. 

Must possess (or ability to obtain if relocating from out of state) and maintain a valid Minnesota driver’s license and current auto insurance.

Must pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background checks.

Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified American Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (Title 25 U.S.C. § 472).
