Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College 

Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College (SCTC) is seeking a dynamic and committed President who can provide the leadership needed to guide the College on its future path and who can ensure the College's mission and purposes are realized on behalf of the students, the community, and the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe (SCIT). To act as the chief administrator and educational leader of the College, who is responsible for the organizational structure of the College and for all executive and administrative duties in connection with the daily operation of the College. The president will lead a team of administrators, faculty, and staff to carry out the College's unique mission and vision and to meet the challenges of growth. The president will ensure SCTC can sustain a significant online footprint and simultaneously increase enrollment in face-to-face campus classes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Department’s Higher Education, Vocational Training and

responsibility and guidance to program leaders and staff.

years, including the development and implementation of a comprehensive educational counseling program for tribal
members and families.
14. Works with school administration to monitor students' standardized achievement test scores, determines trends and
specific academic needs, and recommends solutions to achieve goals.
15. Meets with school administration and parents to address student conduct, performance, and attendance issues;
ensures policy compliance; and work collaboratively with all parties toward solutions that support student success.
16. Monitors and evaluates the department’s role on the tribal truancy team to ensure effective support for student
attendance.
17. Prepares quantitative and qualitative reports on a timely and accurate basis for the department.
18. Works with school administration and Curriculum Coordinator to monitor and track student achievement test scores
in the Private School sector to determine trends and specific academics needed, recommending solutions to achieve
goals.
19. Helps staff prepare quantitative and qualitative reports on a timely and accurate basis.
20. Identifies, addresses, and resolves personnel issues using established HR policies and provides leadership and
guidance to the department, implementing strategies to foster a respectful, inclusive, and productive work

promoting opportunities for growth and well-being. Promotes, develops, and maintains succession planning
strategies to ensure continuity and leadership development within the department.

Education Director 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides administrative oversight, direction, and leadership for programs and staff of the Southern Ute Indian
Montessori Academy (SUIMA), which may include the development and recommendation of program planning
consistent with the mission and vision of the SUIMA.
2. Develops operational procedures for programs under the SUIMA segment, for all students enrolled.
3. Assists the Director of Education in preparing grant applications and fundraising activities for the school.

Provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight for all housing and community development programs serving tribal members.

The Director of Community Development and Housing provides strategic, operational, and visionary leadership for the Grand Traverse Band's housing, community development, and infrastructure-related planning initiatives within the Infrastructure Division. This senior leadership position is responsible for advancing safe, affordable, and sustainable housing opportunities for tribal members while supporting long-term community development on tribal lands. The Director oversees federally funded housing programs, development projects, and planning activities in alignment with tribal sovereignty, self-determination, and Tribal Council priorities, and works collaboratively across divisions to support coordinated infrastructure growth.
