Indigenous Stewardship Network

The Indigenous Stewardship Network (ISN) is an emerging non-profit organization created in 2022 under a Tribal Charter with the Yurok Tribe. This Native-controlled and Native-led organization was established to bring people together who are committed to advancing community health and wellbeing, traditions and cultural values through Indigenous-led stewardship. While gatherings on these important issues have occurred informally, there is a need for an organized and dedicated support system to coordinate efforts more intentionally for Indigenous land stewardship practitioners in what is colonially known as California. ISN’s core programmatic focus is to establish and leverage a network to develop strategies, models, investments as well as other opportunities that strengthens Indigenous stewardship. ISN is currently in its initial growth phase and seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist the Executive Director and Board of Directors to help lead the organization through this phase.


Reporting to the Network Director, the Administrative Assistant will oversee daily administrative operations, and support human resources functions. This role will be responsible for maintaining records, handling correspondence, assisting with budgeting and expense tracking, processing financial transactions, and supporting fundraising efforts. The role also involves assisting Human Resources with basic duties and supporting governance and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing office operations, basic financial processes, exposure to HR functions, program logistics, and communication strategies, with a strong ability to work with tribal, state, and federal governments and an appreciation for Indigenous stewardship practices. Administrative Assistant 

· Process and track reasonable accommodation requests for students, meet with students one-on-one to identify barriers to access and necessary accommodations, and work closely with faculty and staff to ensure student accommodation plans are implemented.

Institute of American Indian Arts 

The IAIA Director of Community Access is responsible for ensuring IAIA’s compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and disability-related state and federal laws. The Director of Community Access coordinates student accommodations, oversees grievances related to discrimination based on disability, develops and provides training to the campus community, and ensures campus spaces and programs are accessible. This position also manages IAIA’s Student Emergency Fund program.

About Grey Snow Green Energy: Grey Snow Green Energy, a division of Grey Snow Management Solutions, is dedicated to advancing energy technologies and other sustainable energy solutions and innovative training programs. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Maintenance to take operations & maintenance ownership of the physical presentation and operability of our 74-acre site in Watkins, Colorado, and maintain our World-Class notoriety as a leading energy research and testing facility. About the Facility: SolarTAC is 74 acres and has three (3) specific components/areas; 1. Classic SolarTAC; Large Scale testing and Demonstration of Solar and other technologies area(s). 2. GridNXT; A plug and play microgrid technology testing and demonstration area. 3. Training Center; A new training facility developed to train field personnel on the development, construction and operation of renewable technologies. The Center has two components including outdoor training area and Classroom facility. The Renewable Energy Training Program is a cutting-edge initiative designed to provide comprehensive education and hands-on design, installation and maintenance training of various renewable energy systems, at various scale. While the initial focus is on solar energy systems, the program will expand to include other renewable and energy, storage and microgrid technologies. The first part of the program is part of our broader commitment to fostering energy sovereignty for the Iowa Tribe of Kansas & Nebraska, and other Tribal communities. The second part of the program will be to work directly with industry and other educational organizations to create training programs that affect the long-term viability of the renewable energy industry.

Reno Sparks Indian Colony 

Position Summary: The Director is the chief administrative officer of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Housing Department (RSICHD). The Director is directly responsible to the Tribal Chairman and RSICHD Board to implement the policies of the RSICHD in all areas of the department’s operations.

Minimum Qualifications: • A Bachelor Degree: in Business, Public Administration, Finance or equivalent experience. Must have experience in the administration of HUD funded housing programs or similar funded programs. • Proven ability to communicate with various audiences covering topics ranging in complexity from simple tenant agreements to advanced funding schemes and housing development projects. • Must possess a demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of generally - accepted governmental accounting principles, including the preparation of financial statements and financial reporting and budgeting. • Knowledge of the application of the principles and practices of procurement and liability management, financial, budget, audit, and systems procedures and controls, and monitoring contracts for compliance. • Preparing clear, concise and complete financial statements, reports and other written materials. NRDC is seeking a two-year Fellow to work with the Nature Equity & Community Partnerships (ECP) team as it seeks to strengthen and grow Nature’s partnerships with Tribal Nations and Indigenous communities in ongoing food and agriculture, lands, and oceans advocacy. Advocacy/organizing/political experience (e.g., lobbying, campaign, or coalition-building experience; work experience with a federal, state, or local official); and

Legal experience (e.g., legal research, writing formal comments, etc.).

Knowledge of or interest in addressing the biodiversity crisis, and the ability to learn new and sometimes wide-ranging subject matter areas.

Demonstrated knowledge of Tribal sovereignty, Indigenous governance, treaty rights, consultation principles, and/or Indigenous‑led approaches to environmental or community priorities.

Demonstrated cultural competency, including the ability to work effectively and respectfully with Tribal Nations and Indigenous Peoples.
